BREATH
BREATH is a European initiative that aims to build a dynamic and sustainable Talent Ecosystem in Health Innovation (HI) across Catalonia, Flanders, and Lithuania. By connecting academic and non-academic institutions, regional clusters, and policymakers, the project empowers Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) with personalised career paths, tailored training, and individualised guidance – all designed to meet the evolving needs of the health innovation sector.
AttractAdria
AttractAdria is a Horizon Europe initiative dedicated to transforming the Adria region into a leading hub for personalised preventive healthcare. By uniting 14 expert partners, the project bridges the gap between academic excellence and industrial innovation. Our mission is to empower early-career researchers with specialised digital skills and stable career paths, effectively turning regional “brain drain” into “brain gain”.
NextTechTalents
Research careers are often shaped early and can be difficult to redirect later, with many early-stage researchers (R1 and R2) in the EU facing challenges in navigating diverse career paths. NextTechTalents addresses these challenges by creating talent ecosystems that integrate these sectors, ensuring researchers gain the skills to transition between academia and non-academic environments, including entrepreneurial opportunities.
INSIGHT
INSIGHT is a three-year European project dedicated to improving how research careers are supported, developed, and recognised across Europe. It brings together universities, research institutes, companies, public authorities, and innovation organisations to create and influence talent ecosystems that help early stage researchers thrive.
ReSkillSpan
ReSkillSpan is a Horizon Europe funded initiative focused on enabling impactful career opportunities for researchers across Europe. By identifying key transversal skill gaps and improving researcher training through innovative courses, mentorship, and personalised learning journeys, the project supports researchers at all career stages and from all research fields to thrive within and beyond academia.
ARCOE
ARCOE is a Horizon Europe project coordinated by Fondazione E. Amaldi, aiming to create a Virtual Talent Innovation Ecosystem Hub to enhance HR practices, career development, and cross-sector research collaboration across Europe. It will support at least 15 organisations (particularly in WIDERA countries) in aligning with the European Charter for Researchers and applying for the HRS4R award.
DeepTechSeeds
DeepTechSeeds project addresses the urgent need for a highly skilled and adaptable research workforce in Europe’s deep-tech sectors. As global competition grows in fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, and advanced materials, the project aims to create a dynamic talent ecosystem that connects academia, industry, and the public sector.
ECROS
Driven by a powerful consortium composed of nine EU+ partner universities, two young researcher associations (FJI from Spain and LJZA from Latvia), and two strong industrial partners (ATIT from Romania and ABG from France), the ECROS project aims to revolutionise the professional development of Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) across Europe.
CROSS
Career Management Services for European Talents (CROSS) aims at strengthening the European Research Area by promoting career interoperability and organisational change. The project will develop and upgrade a range of key tools and solutions, including a self-assessment competence tool for researchers, a mentoring handbook, a roadmap for career counselling and for transversal skills training. The newly created ResearchComp Community of Practice will engage stakeholders across Europe and the HRS4R Repository will benefit research-performing organisations and researchers at all career stages, significantly improving career prospects and delivering broader societal impact.
SECURE2
SECURE2 is pioneering the institutional implementation of the European Framework for Research Careers to structurally enhance career progression and mobility, empowering researchers and institutions across Europe.
